READ-A-THON

At the Boys school, they had a Read-a-thon fund raiser. If you met your goal of hours you got to color your hair for the awards assembly. Good thing my boys LOVE to read. Corbin's goal was 20 hours, he slam dunked that goal and read 26 hours total.
Way to go Corbin!
Parker's goal was 15 hours, he also took this one to the bank, he read 27 1/2 hours.
You rock Parker!
Here is Parker with his certificate, he came in fourth place for all of third grade. I think he did an awesome job, we are so proud of you Parker.
This is Corbin, with his metal. He got second place for all of the first graders...he lost first by three minutes! Because he was in the top three he got a metal. Hip hooray for Corbin.

Life is a Zoo!

Yersterday the three little ones and I, took my friend Becca and her two boys to the zoo. Bridger and Carter are "Best Friends", so it was so fun to get out in the sun and let little boys play. Here are Bridger and Carter in the Wagon and Noah wanting to be little enough to have to ride. Zoo here we come!!
The Train was fixed...yippy, we had to ride it as soon as we got to the zoo, and again before we left. I think Bridger would go to the zoo, just to ride the train. Here are Carter, Noah, Bridger and Becca with Will.
I think this picture is so cute of Bridger. With his hands in his pockets just looking at the alligator. The cutest part was before we went inside to see the alligator Carter was a little afraid, Bridger told him not to be afraid and that the alligator would be in a cage. Then he explaned to him that "my bama (grandma) has alligators at her house..with out cages..that would be scary!" Then carter asked if Bridgers bama had to listen to the funny twangy music they had playing. We hope not!
Here are the boys when we got into the van for the ride home, bright eyed and bushy tailed. Are they not just so cute.
Here the boys are 20 minutes later when we pulled into Becca's driveway. The entire car was asleep. Becca and I ate our ice creams in peace. Wow what a fun day. The best part was having so much fun with our buddies. And Bridger woke up this morning and asked "we are going to the zoo today with Carter okay." Thanks Bec for coming with us, lets do it again soon.

HAPPY EASTER !

Happy Easter, from four little missionaries and their little princess. We hope you all had a wonderful SPRING day. It was such a beautiful spring day at our house, warmth and sunshine we are so happy to have you back in our lives!!!
Sorry, Heidi you can't see Annaka's dress really well, I'll take a better picture and show you later.

Easter Baskets

At our house the Easter Bunny comes on Saturday, so we can remember Christ on Sunday. Annaka loved her Easter basket..or at least the socks that went straight to her mouth. This Easter Basket my Mom made for me when I was a little girl, it is so fun to pass things down to her.
Noah was not injured finding his basket, just playing baseball with his Cousin. Noah's basket was hiding behind the TV, silly Easter Bunny that is the first place Noah would look.
Bridger got a new pair of flip flops in his basket and a new CARS movie. And yes that green thing is an artichoke, we love them around here.
Corbin found his basket in the dishwasher, maybe the Easter Bunny was dropping a hint. He got flip flops and a new computer game.
Parker took an hour to find his basket hanging in the coat closet. He got an new computer game and flip flops. We hope you all had a wonderful Easter.

EASTER EGGS

We had so much fun on Wednesday night decorating our Easter Eggs. I hard boiled 24, it took the boys about 10 minutes to dye them all. After the eggs were all dyed Bridger went to bed crying " I want more eggs, peeze mom, more eggs." Only one crying after a family activity, that is a success in my book. Here is cute Noah, he was so Happy that is was almost Easter.
Apparently Easter Eggs scare Corbin...I am not sure if he is scared of the dye or me. Please notice all the cute aprons my kids are wearing. My grandma Myrna made them for my brothers and sisters when we were little and now my kids are wearing them. Maybe Corbin is scared, because Ryan used to wear this one.
Here is Parker dying his eggs, he was very patient with his and they turned out awesome. Parker is not to big on the apron plan...the only one left was pink.
Here is Bridger before his melt down...too bad in a moment his worse night mare would come true and he would be crying over eggs. Hopefully he only remembers the good times.
As you may imagine Annaka had little to do with the dying of eggs, she would have made a HUGE mess. So she got to sit in her swing and try out her first graham cracker. She LOVED it. I think she was fine with skipping the eggs.

Annaka Elizabeth

Annaka is baby number five and we finally have a little girl. I never thought we would have so much pink in our house, ever. Annaka is a little bundle of joy, and Noah thinks she is soooo pretty.
Annaka loves to smile and giggle. She laughs at her daddy, brothers, the dog and the cats. She loves to be around people and will let any one give her attention.
Annaka LOVES to play dress up. She knows when she doesn't have a bow on her head, she will rub her head where she knows her bow should go. Then when I put a bow on she smiles from ear to ear. She already knows how to climb on top of her brothers, pull their hair and try to wrestle with them. She is going to be one tough girly-girl.
We love our little sissy. We are so thankful for her little happy smile in our lives. I never thought a little girl could have five boys wrapped around her finger, but oh how she does. I love you Miss Annaka!

Bridger Maxx

Bridger Maxx is our fourth little boy. He will be three in April. Bridger started out as our smallest baby, only 4lbs. 11 oz. but he is our biggest boy by far.
Bridger loves Cars, Dora, Yo Gabba Gabba and being a crazy "BIG" boy. If his brothers can do it he can do it better. Sometimes he is 2 going on 13!
Bridger loves to help his dad shovel the walks, fix the house or watch a basketball or football game. He thinks he is so big. His new favorite thing is Guitar Hero 3, even if he gets booed off the stage by the third note.
Bridger is our HAPPY go Lucky kind of kid. They told us he was going to be a girl, Corbin told us that he was going to be our brother named Bridger. i am happy Corbin was right, I don't know what I would do with out my little Bridger Maxx. I love you Bridggie!

Noah William

Noah is our middle child, he turned five in December...
wow how time flies. Noah always likes to have fun, and can bring sunshine into a room.
Noah is HAPPY most of the time, but he can be drama, and turn in an instant. Noah loves to play outside and loves soccer, hockey, baseball and his tumbling class.
Noah loves to dress up and be silly, this is him being Handy Manny, the fix it man. He is a big goof ball if you ask me.
Noah is a great big brother, teaching Bridger how to play with swords and light sabers. This is them after they built Harry Potter wands out of play dough. Noah loves to give kisses and hugs. He loves his bothers most of the time, as ling as they are not going to take away his games, or toys. Noah loves his sister all the time, sometimes a little too much.
I love you NOAH!!

Corbin Riley

Okay, so today it is Corbin's turn. Corbin is our second little boy, he just turned seven last week. One day he hopes to go on a mission to China, we hope he goes on a mission to someplace a little safer...maybe Beaver. Just kidding, I just hope he serves the Chinese people well.
Corbin is doing great at school and is in first grade. He loves to read (he so reminds me of Heidi, maybe it is a second child thing), he will read anything he can get his hands on. His favorite books are chapter books.
Corbin loves to go to Bear Lake, play on the beach and eat Raspberry shakes. Corbin loved riding on the jet ski with Grandpa Williams. We miss Grandpa and Grandma, Andrew and Ryan. Maybe one day they will come eat yummy shakes with us again.
Corbin has the cutest hair in the world. He loves Pandas (the reason to go to china), spongebob, playing x-box, game cube and computer. He wants to be a Dad, doctor or a panda zookeeper when he grows up. He loves to play with his brothers and make Annaka giggle. Corbin is a wonderful little boy who is HAPPY and Smiling all the time. He loves to SING and does it quite well. I am so thankful that Corbin is part of our family, I don't know what we would do with out him.
I love you Corbin Riley!!!

Parker Brent

Parker was a little mad that he didn't get his own spot on the blog, so Parker here it is. I am going to write a little something about each of my kids over the next few days, so one they will all be happy, and two so we all will know them a little better. So here it goes Parker is the oldest of five kids, he will be nine in April, and he is the best big brother in the world.
Parker makes an awesome pirate. He loves anything to do with pirates, star wars or Age of empires. He loves to cook and is actually really good at it.
Parker is HAPPY most of the time and loves to make his brothers scream and his sister giggle.
Parker is very smart. He loves to read, to do math and loves science. He loves to go to scouts and has earned every award he could in the wolves. He is a very driven little boy and when he puts his mind to something he will do it. One day he wants to own his very own restaurant, just like Bobby Flay....
I bet he will do it.
Most of all He is a wonderful little boy, who I love so much. He brings so much fun and energy to our lives. Thanks Buddy.
I love you!!
