We made it to Florida, in one piece. Everything went great...maybe a little too great. No one cried, not even for a second. Each of the kids were in charge of their own back pack and they each had a parent they were assigned to. The kids did awesome. We had to RUN in the Denver airport, to get to our next flight, and each child RAN with Brent and I, and we all got on the plane. I guess our Luggage did not RUN fast enough, because when we arrived in Tampa our luggage was still in Denver. It arrived about 20 hours later. But I can't complain the kids were wonderful and that is truly what mattered. Thanks boys and Annaka for being so good!! I love you!!
Here is Noah on the plane, ready for take off. A little nervous but so excited!
Corbin was overly excited, he was spazing out a little, but once we got on the plane he was great.
Hooray for Parker...we are ready to go see Grandpa and Grandma.
Bridger sat by the window, but had to have the shade down, because he did not want the sun to "burn my eyeballs".
Here are the boys in Denver ready for take off...Florida here we come!

Nothin' much!
We have been up to nothing lately....HAHAHA. As I sit here to update a little bit, Holly's laundry needs to be rotated, bags need to be packed and I am sure I don't have everything in order. In three days we, yes I mean all seven of us, are going to get on a plane and fly to Florida to see my Mom and Dad.
Here she is just a smiling away. She now knows what a Camera is,
and what to do when she sees it,
SMILE !
If you can't tell by this picture Annaka has discovered her tongue.
She sticks it out at everyone, everywhere.
She can even twist it over, what talent she has. We are so excited to see Mom and Dad, Ryan and Andrew. We are counting down the days, yippee three to go. We wish the whole family could be together, but a few is better than none. So Andrew get practicing guitar hero, because we are ready to ROCK!!

PINE WOOD DERBY
Parker had his first pine wood derby last week. He didn't do as well as Brent hoped, but his car did make it down the track. His Car is the black one with gold flames, his best friend Tyler had the Cleveland Cavaliers Car. I hope Parker took away the knowledge of good sportsmanship, but with the way the Dads acted it could be hard to walk away with anything.
I never remember going to my brothers pine wood derby, maybe because by the time Ryan was in scouts I was 12/13 and I could be left home alone. I never realized what a huge deal these little cars could be, I mean you would think Jeff Gordon was personally coming to be the judge. Brent is in the Webelos scouts and one of his boys made the comment that he was so excited this year for the derby, because it was going to be his last year so his dad was going to let him pick out the color. Yes, his dad did all of his car, poor David got to pick out the color. Really, is it that important to win. Dads were re oiling the wheels before each run, and reweighing the cars, it is really crazy if you ask me. Isn't it supposed to be for the boys?
Here is Parker racing his car down the track, yeah Parker.
Parker did not want his picture taken, so this is the look he gave me. Did someone put something in the punch?
Here is Parker getting his Award for the race. He did not win first place. Brent's scout David did, maybe his DAD does know how to build a good car. We think you still did wonderful Parker.

READ-A-THON
At the Boys school, they had a Read-a-thon fund raiser. If you met your goal of hours you got to color your hair for the awards assembly. Good thing my boys LOVE to read.
Corbin's goal was 20 hours, he slam dunked that goal and read 26 hours total.

Parker's goal was 15 hours, he also took this one to the bank, he read 27 1/2 hours.

Here is Parker with his certificate, he came in fourth place for all of third grade. I think he did an awesome job, we are so proud of you Parker.
This is Corbin, with his metal. He got second place for all of the first graders...he lost first by three minutes! Because he was in the top three he got a metal. Hip hooray for Corbin.

Life is a Zoo!
Yersterday the three little ones and I, took my friend Becca and her two boys to the zoo. Bridger and Carter are "Best Friends", so it was so fun to get out in the sun and let little boys play. Here are Bridger and Carter in the Wagon and Noah wanting to be little enough to have to ride. Zoo here we come!!
The Train was fixed...yippy, we had to ride it as soon as we got to the zoo, and again before we left. I think Bridger would go to the zoo, just to ride the train. Here are Carter, Noah, Bridger and Becca with Will.
I think this picture is so cute of Bridger. With his hands in his pockets just looking at the alligator. The cutest part was before we went inside to see the alligator Carter was a little afraid, Bridger told him not to be afraid and that the alligator would be in a cage. Then he explaned to him that "my bama (grandma) has alligators at her house..with out cages..that would be scary!" Then carter asked if Bridgers bama had to listen to the funny twangy music they had playing. We hope not!
Here are the boys when we got into the van for the ride home, bright eyed and bushy tailed. Are they not just so cute.
Here the boys are 20 minutes later when we pulled into Becca's driveway. The entire car was asleep. Becca and I ate our ice creams in peace. Wow what a fun day. The best part was having so much fun with our buddies. And Bridger woke up this morning and asked "we are going to the zoo today with Carter okay." Thanks Bec for coming with us, lets do it again soon.Monday, March 24, 2008
HAPPY EASTER !
Happy Easter, from four little missionaries and their little princess. We hope you all had a wonderful SPRING day. It was such a beautiful spring day at our house, warmth and sunshine we are so happy to have you back in our lives!!! Sorry, Heidi you can't see Annaka's dress really well, I'll take a better picture and show you later.
Easter Baskets
At our house the Easter Bunny comes on Saturday, so we can remember Christ on Sunday.
Annaka loved her Easter basket..or at least the socks that went straight to her mouth. This Easter Basket my Mom made for me when I was a little girl, it is so fun to pass things down to her.
Noah was not injured finding his basket, just playing baseball with his Cousin. Noah's basket was hiding behind the TV, silly Easter Bunny that is the first place Noah would look.
Bridger got a new pair of flip flops in his basket and a new CARS movie. And yes that green thing is an artichoke, we love them around here.
Corbin found his basket in the dishwasher, maybe the Easter Bunny was dropping a hint. He got flip flops and a new computer game.
Parker took an hour to find his basket hanging in the coat closet. He got an new computer game and flip flops. We hope you all had a wonderful Easter.
